This kitchen exudes rustic vibes mixed with modern aesthetics. We paired clean white surfaces with the textures of hickory and mixed wood accent. We really utilize the versatility of using mixed media when designing a kitchen. This project features the original hard pine joists as floating shelves, as well as plaster lath as the back panel on the peninsula. These intentional details give the kitchen an industrial yet modern look.
